>see those hysterical lit videos on youtube
>think they're hot as hell
>get an idea
>the next night tell my girl I want to try something new
>realize I forgot to bring a book
>grab the first thing on her desk
>it's The Sound and the Fury
>make mental note to call her a pseud later
>i go down on her while she starts reading
>she slowly starts to skip words and lose control
>dick is diamonds
>she throws the book and starts moaning
>stick my dick in her and cum pretty much instantly
>best nut of my life
>call her a pseud as we cuddle afterwards
>next day in a boring lecture
>professor is 70 year old white guy
>speaks in a loud monotone voice
>rambles about everything
>every sentence goes on forever and includes a bunch of huge words that they don't really need
>notice i'm rocking a semi
>not looking at anyone just popped up out of nowhere
>look back at the professor
>it's rock hard now
>all of a sudden i imagine he is William Faulkner
>feel like i'm about to cum
>think what the fuck is wrong with me as I excuse myself
>go home and nut while reading hemingway to cure myself
>still pop a semi whenever i have to listen to some pretentious faggot ramble on forever

Anyway, does anyone else think it unfair that Faulkner is left behind in modern criticism for being "pretentious and longwinded' when Joyce is praised for the doing the same thing but in a "le totally random and awesome :3" way.

Thanks for the kicks, OP. I really don't know though, I haven't read either Faulkner or Joyce. Cheers.

is Faulkner readable in translations? Not to another romanic language btw

>> No.8934485

Haha

No

Faulkner is borderline unreadable in his native language to a native speaker. The man wrote by ripping pages out of a dictionary.

This is simply untrue. The worst he'll throw at you is 'abrogate' every other page in Absalom, Absalom! The difficulty with Faulkner for someone unfamiliar to him isn't so much the vocabulary as the sentence structure/length - he is quite fond of long, rich, winding sentences that, if you're receptive to it, carry you on a coursing river of thought and emotion.

No offense, but normies like you need to leave desu. I've been seeing too many recent /lit/ posts from normies insulting people for being autistic virgins because they "overwrote" a response to a post. I wouldn't disagree, but /lit/ should ideally be the gathering place for autists who need a hobby that will make them feel above everyone else even though they objectively aren't. Too much "BRO I LICKED SO MUCH PUSSY LAST NIGHT LMAO" and we'll probably be going off the deep end

lmao you don't need to be a butthurt little crybaby just because there are people on your board who've had sex. The fact that OP had a gf was kind of paramount to the premise of his (literature-related) greentext, so there's no real reason for you to get upset about it unless you've got some severely untreated turboautism. Why did it take her so long to finish coming? Is that normal for girls? Because for me it's one brief spasm, not more than a couple seconds. Also after I'm done I have a "cooldown period" where I don't like any questing hands on it. If someone was operating on me under the table I would swat them away the moment I was finished and get a nice drink of water and some fresh boxers. But she just sat there and let them continue with the hitachi wand, for several minutes. Women have such deep and mysterious lives, it's all very strange.

At first I though this was yet another kinda funny YouTube semi-porn channel, but turns out this is actually supposed to be art

>Hysterical Literature is a video art series by NYC based photographer and filmmaker Clayton Cubitt. It explores feminism, mind/body dualism, distraction portraiture, and the contrast between culture and sexuality.

Actually the best thing to do is fap. For one, your sex drive always supersedes your art drive, so it's best to keep it at relatively low levels so there are no distractions. Secondly you can use your sexual frustration as a motivator
