Are there anymore books that are as epic as IT? Horror wise. This book was just so perfect in my opinion, I need something just like it.

(already read The Stand)

Any Hp Lovecraft. The Shining maybe too

>> No.878942

I gotta say, Shining > It,

however both epic.

>> No.878960

Meh, The Shining was good but I want something longer.

>> No.878972

Few things are as epic as It. But I'll recommend The Traveling Vampire Show, by Richard Laymon

That was my first King novel, not bad but its unbelievable that the same author wrote The Stand.

Read The Stand first.

He seems to do things like this pretty often, albeit slightly less over the top. I stopped reading Misery when he mentioned being "raped full of her breath." I just don't feel like I can read a book which pulls that analogy out of fucking nowhere and expects me to DROP. EVERYTHING.

I've heard a lot of comparisons between Naoki Urasawa's 20th Century Boys and IT. 20th Century Boys also happens to be exceptionally good. I suggest checking it out unless you're averse to comics for some reason.

This. For the love of god stay away from the live action films though.

this is why i hated myself for downloading all the king audiobooks to listen to at work

his flaws just get more and more apparent to more i listen

and GOOD horror audiobooks are so rare too

I've never read anything as scary as it, and I've been looking for years.

I recommend The Stand but then IT right after that.

AWW HELL YES. Just read the synopsis and it looks good. It comes out in two days, can't fucking wait. A great summer epic at 766 pages.

Ohh shit, June 8th, not July. Will pick up tomorrow.
