I don't 'love' Žižek. He's interesting, quirky, and certainly likeable in his own way - but that by no means implies he has merit.

I come across Marx from other sources, books and actual interaction with hardline communists on RevLeft.
You are right about Lacan, but I read plenty of psychology to know that its bullshit.

If you want to go the way of making assumptions about people, I bet you are likely the type of person - especially considering /lit/'s demographics - that only reads classic philosophy and literature and doesn't concern yourself with contemporary philosophy or scientific books.

To fling some more shit at you: there's a high probability that almost all that you read fits into a stereotype. For what's it worth, everything I read could almost fit the STEM stereotype.
