Any books to help me figure out why I should continue living? Or maybe why I shouldn't?

Phaedo.

Just watch a whole bunch of Alan Watts videos. I recommend the series Eastern Wisdom and Modern Life.

Also, go see a psychanalyst.

Frank's whole method of finding a purpose and then immersing yourself is difficult for me because I can't find a purpose. His philosophy starts off with it as a necessary precondition but I think it's the hardest part.

I've seen this chart before and none of the options seem appealing I've even given a couple of them a shot in my teenage years.

I've been struggling with this for awhile now and I wouldn't really call it my first existential crisis. It just gets unbearably engrained in my head every few months or it might last for months. Is just a constant nagging in my head, "What are you doing?"

I'm not underage and I've browsed this board for about five years now. I knew this thread wouldn't be favoured here but it was eating at me. You are free to sage or hide this thread if you want

Just watch My Dinner with Andre. Where does the chart take you if you answer honestly? Nietzsche? "Political existentialism"?

I was devout orthodox Christian, tried getting into Buddhism, and anarcho-communist. All of these at different times in my life.

I've seen my dinner with Andre. It was interesting. I think a lot of people side with either one but I see them as both having views that work for their own lives. However, for me, i can't quite seem to find some ideology or whatever that I can stick to for life. I think everything is kind of underwhelming.

Perhaps, in a life where I was more intelligent or strong willed I would have been a shut-in astrophysics nut.
