Hey /lit/, quick question. I'm thinking of a term with the following definition: When an individual desperately wants a situation to be a certain way, and everything they see that could validate this "fantasy" per se becomes infallible evidence that the situation is exactly how they perceive it.

It goes beyond "confirmation bias," can someone help me out? Pic unrelated
