Turgenev is a good one but in fact most of Russian literature is, Pushkin and Lermontov are super comfy and Dosto can be, Chekhov too.
In other literature the cushy Paris stuff in Hopscotch or Nadja is nice and if you can do it Ulysses is super comfy, but so is Portrait if you cant.
