Is it true if Plato didn't show up to class Socrates would just cancel the whole day? kind of a dick move I mean I know he's the golden boy but that's unfair to his other students right?

Actually I am writing a screenplay based on this premise. Its called Plato's Day Off. Nobody has ever heard such a thing before

This sounds really interesting. I wish you the best of luck that I may one day see it on stage.

I think "Plato's Big Day Off" would make for a better title anon.

This may be a joke, or at least may be treated as one, but that's actually a captivating premise and made me chuckle just thinking about it.

Please make it an 80s teen movie and make Plato played by Matthew Broderick

>Young Plato runs from dogs as a hobo throws cabbages at him
>*discus scratch*
>"Now you're probably wondering how I ended up like this. But I swear to Zeus there's a perfect explaination for this."
>Film rewinds back to Socrates acting as a midwife for ideas.
>"No that's way too far back!"
>Film fast forwards to younger Plato stretching in the gymn while older men watch.
>"Now that's closer to the Good."
