How can any medium dominated by commercial interests and permeated throughout with women be worthwhile on any level?

This isn't a troll topic. Women casualise everything that they're in. It's their nature. We should blame ourselves for taking female dominated fields seriously in the first place.

How has literature been so debased that you guys, alleged non-casuals, won't take anything seriously unless it has a publisher with a large enough revenue? All you can do is defer to authority?

I could name "purer" fields of human creativity that are currently fertile (and even the assumption that the fertility of fields could ever change probably enrages many of you) but I won't in this OP.

It isn't really about gender, culture itself has just become simplified and commodified. There are plenty of potent female artists, less it's true, but the men lately are not producing anything interesting either. I think popular film and music are the only interesting creative outlets these days because they at least address the fact that there is no longer an aristocratic elite capable of creating high art.
