Who here is comfortably unemployed?

>No expectations
>Days are completely free
>Spend all my time reading and writing

I finished 3 short stories and read 60 books last year.

I'm on welfare. I don't do much. Walk around town, run errands, do household chores, cook meals, read, take naps, bathe and groom, enjoy the internet, talk to people.

I was diagnosed with schizophrenia in 2012. Dropped out of college. Fortunately I got my loans discharged due to disability as well as disablity welfare so I've been living a comfy NEET life ever since. Recently been big into reading about Egyptian civilization. Already read twelve books this year. On page 121 of my schizophrenic autobiography. Hopefully that will earn some interest. I'm also in a noise band and have released two albums.

>tfw you don't have enough balls to cut your family off like jim morrison and pursue your art
>tfw you feel like youre wasting time when you write and read and you hear your parents upstairs watching their shows and babbling about them and know that they have cushy jobs and a bunch of free time but they spend it on that and they want you to work a job where you have no free time because "you can do so much" but the only "doing" you want to do is art

Richfag NEET writer checking in.

You have to have some structure and social interaction or you'll go insane and stop being productive. I don't even mean a job, but for someone without a lot of discipline that may be the best option.

I have a higher-functioning ASD, have been on-and-off homeless for the past year and a half, and just reached the age of majority and so aged out of government care. I was also recently approved for disability benefits. About a month ago after a long stretch without shelter, I jumped off a bridge in what was I guess a suicide attempt. Since then my province's big housing organization has been paying to keep me in a hotel while looking for longer-term housing options.

I am literally autistic and had to nearly kill myself to do it, but I'm gonna be NEET and living comfortably just like the rest of you.

Who here running out of NEETBUX? I usually save up enough between jobs to have a few months off but now I can't find another job. REEEEE

>> No.7977933

Was NEET for 10 years nonstop. Now I list shit on ebay for a friend of my father, if you want to call that a "job" It takes me all of 20 minutes to list the stuff I get sent and I get paid $90 a day.

Trying to think of what to do with the money to sustain NEETdom. I have no monetary obligations so it all goes strait into savings, already at 15k

I basically just dug deep and explored various mediums intensely. After a few years I would get absolutely sick of one, feeling that I found everything worthwhile and start I would start all over again with another one. From ages 15-25 I went through video games, albums, cinema, and literature in that order.

>>7977958
I live with my parents right now and have no complaints, and neither do they, really, since they are used to it at this point. More concerned about the long term though, don't wanna be that 50 year old person on the streets, that's what I'm storing cash to prevent.
