Would it be ok to listen to the Moby dick audio book while working out or would I lose something not reading it?

Im listening to one now, and it's pretty good.
The way it's written you might get lost for a second after Ishmael has been describing various things that are white for 20 minutes, and uses 3 words in a row that aren't ever used anymore during a paragraph long sentence about ancient kings dressing in white. But it's really not a big deal.
I feel like I'm getting most of it. Having powermobydick.com pulled up for notes helps.
Also a word of advice, don't hang on everything. If you focus too much on understanding every allusion or brief historical reference, of which there are many back to back, you'll never get anywhere.

Probably should have added that I'm listening to this version.
He does a good job of voicing characters and enunciating. Can't speak on any other narrators.
