INTJ here. I learn by writing things down in a four-bic in gradually shorter bullet points. Takes me like three copies to remember it for the next few days, but my memory for words is good. I'll sort of rely on being able to recite it clearly in my head to remember, rather than see it out.

I usually just absorb information, most of it doesn't last.

When it comes to school I just write it down night before exam and read it in morning, I usually get 80% right and forget most of it the next day. Oral exams are different, I won't take it unless I know at least 95%.
In other cases I have a command of thoroughly useless information, I don't have any hobbies that stick with me so my interests are wide but never specialized. So I'm pretty much epitome of mediocrity.
