Not OP but since I've been meaning to read Siddhartha I would like to know what is the best translation of it. Is the Hilda Rosner translation the most recommended one? Does the same follow suit for Hesse's other works?

When it comes to translations I look up reviews, and download a few of the various translations... I read 1-3 pages of each translation and intuit which I liked best. I haven't read Siddhartha so I can't offer my opinion
