Which famous writer do you write like?
Post some some of your writing to this (pic related) site to see.

I put in four different texts and it said I write like a pleb

HP is fun to read but people get embarrassed later and pretend they never liked him.

You are essentially the chubby girl with nice tits and cute face of writing.

The only people that do that is black people, people on /lit/, and/or people who don't want to look racist.

I put in an unfinished steampunk/fantasy short story I wrote for a creative writing class and got David Foster Wallace. The only thing of Wallace I've read is E Unibus Pluram.

I'd have to say it is the opposite for me. Looking back I like Lovecraft's ideas and the stories all seem interesting. Reading Lovecraft is a horrible experience. I can't think of any generally well respected author I enjoy less. Every aspect of his writing combines to make the most dull great ideas ever.

It does it's best but obviously can't work with trash that doesn't have some resemblance of style to a popular author. You can even copy excerpts from well known books and it's pretty accurate with the result.

I'd also put in a poem of mine and it said it was like H.P. lovecraft.
This was the passage it evaluated when it said Dan Brown.

"Foggy desolation is thundering silently across the bay. Smothering it under a blanket of damp cotton. Slashing through the cloth comes an amber rhythmic ray. The cloudy broth is illuminated by the pulsating beam which does Sostratus proud. The luminescent sign-post shoots a streak across a metallic silhouette on shore. One, three, five seconds. A second diffused reflection off of the ephemeral shadow. But the enlightened mirage does not disappear with the beam once more. An aura radiate from within the object revealing the contour of a silent Buddha.

Marcus hung his head low, lower than the fogs that stalk the fields – the fields of dogs minding idly fate, in contempt for contentedness and assuredness of future certainties, waiting ever patiently as a vulture does, whence all dead were living – at certain times with a touch of happiness in their souls.

I wrote this in a few minutes and it says I write like Nabokov. I don't see it.

The sun fled the onslaught of stars, the coruscating holocaust, to the land extending past, in fantasy, the horizon's subtle swell, to where dreams meet in confluence the truths desperately avoided, and man's projections erode, returning to nature.

>> No.7476370

>Mary Shelley
>Mario Puzo
>Robert Louis Stevenson

I have no idea what to make of this.
