Alright, so I've been meaning to read The Fifth Head of Cerberus ever since I finished Gene's Wolfe's BotNS and Latro novels, so I ordered this on Amazon for like $10 last week and it came in today and this is what I see when I open it up.

Can anyone authenticate this for me?

Also, post you personal random book jackpot stories.

Why does it matter?

Well I thought I hit the jackpot when I found an 1898 edition of Cyrano de Bergerac on my dad's shelf. Then I later discover numerous printers printed it in the beginning since the play was so popular, and my edition wasn't remotely rare.

I'm a fan and I'll probably never get the chance to meet him in real life so it would have personal novelty value.

Compare it with his other signed novels, you'll find them on ebay.

...is that a G? Looks like an M. He hasn't signed it Meme Wolfe has he?

Anyway, I have Umbrella signed and dedicated by Will Self himself (mysteriously an untouched-seeming secondhand copy) and a signed copy of Pope's Iliad translation. Signed by the editor, though, sadly not by Pope or Homer.
