Define post-impressionism as a movement in painting... You obviously can't. That's why it's "post"-modernism and not just a term of it's own. It's not a literary movement, it's a period, which the defining elements of modernistic literature are being stretched out, deconstructed, re-thought and reflected upon at. When new, 21th century ideas will be solidified, you will have literary movements with clear, or at least more clear definitions.
