What can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence. There's no evidence that a god exists, thus I can dismiss the assertion that there is a god.

You must think atheists are anti-god. Atheism just means you don't believe in a god. There could be a god but I just don't believe in a god because there's no convincing evidence.

We can't know anything about the First Cause other than the fact it exists, it's outside our frame of reference and theological speculations, while interesting, are almost certainly wrong.

all of the biggest obstacles in my life are a result of either decisions that other human beings make, or environmental factors which have identifiable, non random, non ambiguous, causes.

maybe the universe was created by god? maybe there's an afterlife? what i know for sure is that if i pray to god for a miracle, he is absolutely not going to respond. so i'm not going to waste my time worshiping and praying, when i could be taking my life into my own hands.
