As a man I can't relate to her problems or outlook at all. She is not a very universal writer. Woolf is a woman writer who actually manages to write about women in a way that is still pertinent and emotive to me as a male reader. Read 'The Life of a Stupid Man' by Ryunosuke Akutagawa. Not exactly a poem, it's a series of sketches about his life. Not sure if it's exactly 'depression' as such but the guy seems pretty suicidal, if too apathetic to bother killing himself.
