Hahaha, it's fun actually, but it takes a while, especially when it's a from an author starting with an A ;) At first I tried to keep some space at the end of eachshelf, so I could easily add a book, but I quickly ran out of space. I’m probably going to add another Billy, so I can try implementing that system again. Right now, I mostly wait until I have a few books to add, then put everything in order at once. I actually have a few more boxes with books in the attic, which I should add, but first I need a new bookcase.

But seriously, those three books made you cringe? I've yet to read Atlas Shrugged, only recently got it, but Anthem is a "fun" little dystopian tale and The Fountainhead is preachy, but entertaining. As a side note, I expect the following remarks:

>Those books look unused. You are just a faggot who buys but doesn't read!

It is true that a lot of books in my collection are unread. Most of those are reference, and thus I open rarely when I need to cite something or look up something. Many of the others are books that are not the type you sit down and "read". A couple I bought simply to support the author, and I will get around to reading it eventually. Some of them are new copies of books I read a long time ago with a copy that wasn't mine.

In general, I have read most of them however. The only time my books EVER end up slightly damaged is when I take them on trips for whatever reason.

You should remove college textbooks from your library, particularly if they aren't used anymore. Put them in a box. Remove language textbooks (Genki, French Review and Practice, ...) and How to Win Friends & Influence People. Remove highschool assigned readings (1984, To Kill a Mockingbird, ...) and everything from Noam Chomsky, Carl Sagan, R. Dawkins, Stephen Hawking and others scientists unless they are hardcover. Remove the “(...) for Dummies”. Remove fantasy. Put the nice hardcover in the bottom shelf so it doesn't bend. Now you have a proper collection! As you mentioned, most of your books are dictionaries/textbooks/guides but you have some nice references.

Also I really should put the hardcovers on the bottom, good point!

Still quite novel due to the perfectly balanced construction no matter the angle you manoeuvre it in. And the way the current travels through the metal frame is still cool. Keeps the frame thin and minimal.

Avoid the modern led, it has a stupid stub on the head (because it get's hot) and is way less powerful, in high mode the old one blasts you with 1500+ Lumens.

Hvorfor?

I actually have two copies. The first I bought on Amazon for ~$50 and the second I got lucky and found for $2 at a library sale.

I feel like keeping these collections of moist dusty paper in a small room like this will just end up poisoning you in some way. You'll wake up with tree growth tickling your tonsils.
