a lot of Foucault is so self-contained that it's difficult to criticize because it implicitly rejects anything that isn't stated on its own terms. made Chomsky look silly even though he's much more coherent (and, I think, smarter and more correct) than Foucault: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wfNl2L0Gf8
