I just want someone to feel strongly about me, and to do something that wasn't predetermined by birth or familial responsibility. Something done outside of the yoke and beyond the whip.

But I don't have the skills. So I go to a third rate city college, study meme science, try (and probably fail) to get into med school, and write self-pitying soliloquies (like this one) to get sympathy from strangers.

I don't have any friends because the ones I had have moved on to better things, and because I'm a faggot with a massive ego who can't be anything more than polite and 'acquainted' with pop culture people and defensive and reserved with the accomplished.

I'm so limited by familial love, that its obligations are turning it into hate. I'm a chronic masturbator and a porn addict because I am utterly impotent, incompetent and unimportant. I'm a compulsive liar, because I can believe the lies more easily than the truth. Because, really, between the half-kept obligations of religion and the acidic contempt I have for the only people I love, the fundamental toenail-tearing loneliness, and the colossal cognitive dissonance, my whole life is a lie.

And all the while I try to put my soul on the page just to convince myself that it exists. But its just fucking ink.
