Slightly off topic but how does /lit/ find the motivation to carry on living the ordinary existence (9 to 5, mortgage, retirement then the grave) knowing that it could all end tomorrow and in the long run, it is all for nothing anyway?
Do you live a purely hedonistic lifestyle or do you feign ignorance and pretend to be like a stereotypical normie and pretend you don't know any better?
How do you continue to follow social normalities when you feel this way?
How do you deal with this specific rare feel bros?
How have you not gone insane yet?

Find something you care about and do it.

Deal with it. People did for thousands of years in far worse conditions.

That's the key. The ability to escape into your own mind and entertain yourself is the best way to make it out alive.

As I said... if you are of the mindset that everything is for nothing then what would be the point of finding your passion? Would you even be able to truely have any passion knowing that afterall you are wasting your time and none of it matters.

Impossible. Everything, and I mean everything that you experience you percieve as being petty and not worthwhile. You would likely go insane if you pretend it all meant something.
