Anyone had difficulty slogging through Mason & Dixon chapters with all the evaluations on latitude and longitude in America?

It's already a difficult novel and those parts become intimidating once you go through them few times, making you stopping reading altogether once they come.

Don't get me wrong, it's a wonderful and very enjoyable novel, but I feel like I would enjoy learning math more than going through that again.

It's basic trigonometry pal, pull yourself together.

Just ignore it Anon. If you don't get everything pertaining to the trig, it's okay. It doesn't matter all that much

I will go through it. I made this thread just to complain about having some difficulty because it didn't seem to matter all that much.
