Anyway, OP, if you want to start with philosohy, you can probably just start with modern philosohy. Read Descartes. Conversely, if you want to start at the very beginning, go with the Greeks.

If you just want a beginner philosohy read that makes you think but isn't all that challenging, I would go with Aurelius's Meditations

Like, all most of the Stirnerfags know about Stirner's philosophy are meme shitposting, and the most you get out of most Zizekposters are from Zizek's movies. Hell, Zizek isn't actually very new with his presentation of the marxist critique of ideology, his conception is borrowed over from Althusser sprinkled with Hegel and Lacan.

Zizek actually is fairly unoriginal. He repeats himself a fuckton, and many of his popularized ideas tend to be taken and formulated from someone else prior while putting his own twist on it.
