What lit magazines do you guys submit your work to?

Do you write short stories?

There are a TON of literary magazines out there. Many of them are reputable, many of them are not. Some of them are up and comers, some are established. Some have themes, some do not.

All of them have editors who have a certain taste. Of course, many of these will come with some kind of tagline: "Any genre!" "We just want quality writing!" But of course, all editors have preferences.

google the review review. There are a ton of magazines posted there, and you can browse. It is always a good idea to read the kinds of things that magazines publish before you submit, and always follow the submission guidelines, so that your submission doesn't go straight into the garbage.

Good luck, friend.

Go to duotrope. They're probably the best resource for what you're asking.
