As do I.

But if you distilled a book you'd only get methanol.

Bookaholism is potentially deadly.

Or you could just say, you know, "I like books." Or don't fucking gush about it unless it's already part of the conversation.

People who talk casually about puking make me want to puke directly on them. See how they like it then.

Yeah.. I would rather read a good book then hang out with most of the people at my university. For them it is "drink drink party then blame the teacher when I get a B on the final." Absolute idiots. There are a select few in the honors program who are somewhat pleasant to spend time with when not on campus. Very few though.

My old work buddies did this all the time. Like they would literally ask me everyday where I was going and what I would be doing when I got there. I always told them the same thing: driving to the bar to drink a ton of beer and free shots from my bartender then drive home to fall asleep. Yet once a week they all come to join me, soon realizing again they can't drink four liters of beer, then throwing up in the parking lot as I drive home. Always the next morning they were either still drunk and doing a shit job at work, or sick as dogs and questioning how I was my normal self.

I never understood this dichotomy. I have plenty of time to drink, party, read and do college work.
