Christians don't read atheist thinkers OR Christian theology. Do you think that 90% of the faithful have ever read a single book connected to it besides a few excerpts from the Bible if you're lucky? Besides, neither have any points to make, in the end: "I believe in this invisible thing, but can't prove it exists." "Well, I don't, but I can't absolutely prove it doesn't." Being an atheist certainly doesn't require any reading of anything. How many people have their core beliefs changed by books, in the end? The number of non-book-readers has nearly tripled since 1978 in the U.S., you know (as in roughly a quarter of Americans did not read a single fucking book last year).
