I fucking love Stormlight so far. I read Mistborn and thought it was ok, except the lazy ending, but Stormlight is in a different league.

I think you have to have read a bunch of fantasy books to appreciate why this series is great. I actually emailed Sanderson in October and this was the reply I got:
