Philo thread? Philo Thread

What are words to the universe?
Are they comparisons? Ideals of that that is the expression of life? Maybe just an expression of the love of death?
Your thoughts?

Everything is very complicated, science may one day figure out quite a lot, but never everything, our minds are incapable.

But that is pointless, there is no inherent meaning to anything. As such the only goal I can find is to enjoy life.

Mainly concerned with politics since despite having studied quite a lot of philosophy i'm still a pretty sure nihilist.

Nothing is anything to the universe, the universe does not have a point of view. Words only matter to human beings, who use them as signs for things, both individual and general.

>Nothing is anything to the universe
>Nothing
>an idea
>a relationship
>a bonding

imo it's people like you who are preventing progression in scientific fields and even regression by not acknowledging that we are sentient as a piece of something that is undoubtedly sentient by simply presenting that a part of it is indeed sentient!

wth is your argument against that?

Are none of you seriously interested on how we are AT MINIMUM the psychological metabolism of the universe?

A house is a door to a whole world though, so which is greater, the door or the house?

Life sprang from the universe, at least this once, but likely many times throughout.
It isn't a love of death the living experience but the tiring of life.

It is only a return to where the infant you came from.
It is all rather profound. Sitting in this little dusty room, on a little speck of a planet in a tiny swirl of stars amidst this endless expanse, I contemplate it all.

Perhaps god got lost out there. Poor little guy.

Representations of representations within time and space, products of human consciousness which can never grasp existences outside of human consciousness...and yet poetry comes very close to the truest meaning we are able to grasp.
