Why not just sell out and write a really cheesy YA novel lit? It gets you all the underage pussy.

>> No.6732044

Because no one here is talented enough to sell out.

She's 22.

Those pictures just went up, so you clearly follow him on social media. So, either you're a fan, in which case stop pandering to /lit/ so you can fit in, or you actively dislike him AND follow him on social media, which is kind of sad.

Skinny pussy obsessed with political correctness, doesn't seem like he embraces masculinity at all.
As well two of his male protagonists are weak shy nervous but smart kids who don't approach girls but are wondrously approached by them. These characters are clearly based on john green

I read something after googling john green and he got accused of being a pedo or something like that, in a throwaway and obviously made up way. Jesus christ, he's playing with fire if he thinks he can be male and embedded in tumblr / youtube / over-sincere youtube culture. He should leave while he's still unharmed.

I have no idea how can someone be both capable of introspection and be a liberal (I'm Swiss, I'm using the political term just to give you an idea of what traits I'm talking about)
If you're past your late teens that's just implausible, it doesn't really make sense. In the last couple of years I've been struggling to understand and explain to myself how that feature would ever be able to live together with a rotten ideology, and yet I found no other reasons besides:
- Clothe themselves of intellectual majesty and (faux) good intentions
- Naivety

What do you think?

Maybe you guys just aren't /tv/, but Cara D. is trying to break into film lately and she's just the main protagonist of Paper Towns.
She's also in a comic book movie (Suicide Squat).

Also, I take it John Green is 6'2''++?

- Inability of realizing what words like "equality" and "tolerance" mean alone, and when applied to a society
- Inability of critical thinking and discerning politics and humanity
- Easily manipulated through cheap emotions
- Cowards, hypocritical, with no real interests for anything that their modest emotive sphere couldn't handle
- Advocating for political correctness
- etc.

This is on one end of the spectrum, and turbo conservatives are the other end. It may be hard to believe but both types of people exist.

Those living with/for ideology are faulty to begin with.

Meh. I feel like my peers could write stuff comparable to Green in terms of quality. (I'm getting a PhD in a quantitative field)

There is a lot of luck involved in getting your first work published and liked. He had a pretty solid platform(maybe, idk much about his career trajectory) for success through his vlog, and he leveraged it by writing YA that his followers would buy.

But humanly, I will never, ever see someone advocating for love and tolerance as human, because it's clear he never found the time to think of anything more interesting about his condition

We're getting to a different territory now. Since we're talking about multiple "liberal ideologies" instead of a singular "liberalism", you have to tell us what those ideologies are.
Reminder that if they cannot be concretely defined, they're not ideologies.

>> No.6732673

>>6732581
I listed them above.
Those aren't indicative of any political theory, nor are they to be put in a political spectrum; but they are indicative of the people that most identify with a set of vague ideas, dogmas, and ways of living that in turn are more easily associated with the left

Are you implying that large numbers of Conservatives don't also possess these traits? Replace "muh political corrrectness" with "muh traditions" and it's spot on. Average unintelligent people are just born that way.
