Highly innacurate, there have been a few folks who actually blew themselves up from the inaccurate bomb making sections. Look into the publisher "Loompanics" if you want more accurate books on how to do illegal shit.

It wasn't written by them as such, but most editions have deliberate misinformation implanted in them, yes.
It's not exactly as useful book with information relating to modern equipment though. Most editions still have chapters on phreaking for fuck's sake.
