>Nietzsche's own philosophy is a bit incoherent because it is based on the idea of reversing everything that prior philosophers of the generation just prior to him believed. So for instance he attacks Socrates and Plato and adopts the stance that the Pre-socratics were better. Philosophically this is the equivalent of rejecting Christianity as a religion. But Nietzsche struggled to make all these reversals make sense together and developed the idea of the Free Spirit as one who was unfettered in his thinking and could think completely outside the box that had restricted thought up to his time.

maize shoots looks down with young cruelty and innocent lips parted slightly terminal caress in
the dropping eyes. The Young Corn God is led out and his robes of corn silk stripped from his
body by lobster priests. A vine rope is attached to the stone penis of the Maize God. The boy's
cock rises iridescent in the morning sun and you can see the other room from there by a mirror
on the wardrobe. . . Well now, in the city a group of them came to this valley grow corn do a
bit of hunting fishing in the river.

Because they were portrayed as cool in 19th century Europe. As much as Nietzsche may have claimed otherwise, he was very much a product of his time.

sadly it's more of a rehash of a very old /mu/ meme where the joke was misattributing quotes to Steve Albini, which started from that one time he described Shellac's encounter with Odd Future

How exactly does one think COMPLETELY outside of the box when you're trapped in it?
