What if the proportion of atheists to christians on /lit/ has remained constant?

After Le Hat Memes no one would ridicule christianity for fear of being answered with a fedora. Hence ridicule of religion ceased, which encouraged the Christian demographic - who were previously hiding for fear of being attacked by New Atheists - to freely discuss their views and stuff.
So what looks like a counterculture is just a culture which has become more vocal.
