And the weak should be culled, the strong should survive, why do you think the world shouldn't be conducted in this way? It's the only way we're going to ever become a spacefaring, long lasting species. We need to cull those who cannot execute and contribute.

While I do like what Rand has done, notably filibustering the Patriot Act renewal, I don't feel an anti government populist ought to run the government. It's like when the Athenians appointed Nicias, an anti war, pro Spartan, to command the invasion of Sicily. Only chaos can ensue.

Goods being produced must be cost-effective, which means higher quality materials are forgone for cheaper alternatives. How is that progressive in any way?
