can't believe no one else has said this bit Voltaire's Philosophical Dictionary is great.
Its free on amazon eBooks, hilariously anti-semitic, arrogant but beautifully written, diverse in structure, obnoxiously opinionated and yet surprisingly insightful, and above all else irreverent, which is the best thing about Voltaire
easy book to pick up and enjoy
