The fuck.

I can't find any alternative versions of the Dragonlance Chronicles trilogy that aren't over $200.

I just want a non-shitty, non-paperback version. :(

Also, Dragonlance general?

you have to pay for good things

I just want to say the magic system in this game to me was great.

It was something that you didn't have to be born to do, but the you'd have to be a super strong-willed person to get through the trials to be able to use magic. Fuck, Raistlin killed his own brother in his trial, most people couldn't do that.

Never read these books. Why do you want them in hardcover?

For sentimental value, I just don't want to pay over $200 for a set of only three books.

I have them all in paperback, but I usually get the paperback version first and then buy hardcover if I absolutely love the book, and these books have been my favorite since I first got into scifi literature.

OP here. Didn't care about the games, just the books.

You can ghetto trick any paperback to hardbound if you get some fiberglass and epoxy. personally, I only keep book I don't want others to read or plan on reading again later. I have books I read 20 years ago and the coolest thing in the world is to see my handwriting in the margins of those dog eared pages so I know about sentimental value for you. I did see paperbacks in the $10-20 range. I'll keep my eye out for hardbacks.

Trilogy? What about Dragons of Summer Flame?

That's not part of anything. It's its own standalone book. I bought it because I thought it was part of the Chronicles as well, but it's not. It takes place like 100 years later and the main characters are the children of Raistlin, Caramon, Sturm, etc. Still one of my FAVORITE books nonetheless

I saw the cartoon. Based on that, I don't think I'm missing out on anything by NOT reading these books.

I never liked M Weis and T Hickman. Tried to read one book. Fell asleep after 15 pages. Shit.
