I particularily enjoy Blacksad, because it is both mature and childish at the same time.

It is also very pleasing aesthetically. I do not know if it has been translated to english, but probably.

Blacksad is great. It has indeed been translated. The way Amarillo depicted the writers and the pseudo intellectual was great.

who /weekly/ here

Sandman is obligatory, it's a strange dark fantasy serial written by Neil Gaiman, who also found success as a novelist.

Dark Horse did a pretty good adaptation of Conan The Barbarian, which I felt captured something of Howard's short stories.

Watchmen is a classic
Some of Alan moores other stuff like v for vendetta
I always liked the bone series as a kid, it isn't really in the same league as watchmen though

Eastern europe has translations of Jodorowsky and at least a few french/belgian classics, I'm pretty sure

Incal is great. Anything Moebius did is, to be honest.

Druillet is lovecraftian and wonderful.

I really must learn French. I have a solid background in Spanish so it shouldn't even be so hard.
I'd also learn Japanese but seriously, their writing system is all kinds of bullshit.

Pinocchio by Winshluss
Signal to Noise by Neil Gaiman
El Eternauta by Héctor Germán Oesterheld
Stitches by David Small
City of Glass by Paul Karasik
Daytripper by Fábio Moon, Gabriel Bá

>>6602334
I think Incal is translated in English. Also check out Metabarons for that space-opera family-saga.
