The Ulysses and GR ones aren't even good as parodies.. I get the feeling the guy who made this only read Infinite Jest... I don't remember any real "interests or hobbies" in gravity's rainbow, mostly just a labyrinthian comic plot and dark allegory

Slothrop is obsessed with the Schwarzgerät, women, imipolex-G , Laszlo Jamf, and several other things. The Gravity's Rainbow one is the weakest of the three though.

I just find it amusing that the foreword was written two years before he did it and it happened to talk about how the book would outlast him.

I got past the first chapter. I've actually had a similar experience where I thought I was making sense to people but no one understood what the fuck I was saying when I was severely dehydrated and sleep deprived.

History, science, jazz, drugs, etc.

And the only problem with the Ulysses one is the title is just a generic insult. This is the only flaw in the entire image, besides perhaps the repetition of "quirky" to describe both Pynchon and DFW (however accurate).

The Ulysses one works since it puts the generic insult in the title and describes the content as the author.
