Do you ever read 2 or more books at the same time?

I've started about 6 at the moment.

Every now and then I forget one and then pick it up again later from the beginning.

How do you read five books at the same time? Do you have five books open in front of you where you read two pages of each book, then flip over to the next page? How long does it take you to read over from the first book to the fifth book?

Three at once. Each book is in different language. I try to figure out if the book sucks in the first chapter. If it gets boring halfway, I just force myself to read it. There's still a lot of vocabularies to make use of.

When people say they read multiple books at the same time they don't typically mean they have them all open at once. It just means they go back and forth between multiple books over the course of maybe a day, or a week instead of just finishing one.

i can't ever read beyond the 10% point of a book, so i start 2 or 3 new books every day, and spend the rest of the day reading a dozen or so pages more on books i've already started. i have at least 40 books i'm not even halfway through yet.

i don't read any less, i just can't focus on a single thing for too long if it isn't philosophy, so i spread it all out. i enjoy it this way. the books last for weeks and i'm never limited to a single one.
