Hey /lit/ I'm trying to start writing a story I have a few character ideas and concepts but I'm not sure exactly how to start. Any tips? Pic unrelated

I've had two articles published in the state's main newspaper on two separate occasions, so I'm pretty much the real deal.
First and foremost, have fun :). Find a writing suite that you enjoy and make sure that you're in a comfortable environment.
Try spitballing some ideas onto a page without real connection.If you have nothing, having it fleshed out is already a step in the right direction.
If it's intimidating, push writing your first sentence/paragraph or title aside for later when the concept is a bit more thought over.
