I'm 23 pages into the first draft of a play I'm working on. It's hard to get motivated to write, because I feel like I could finish the draft in an hour if I really sat down and worked. But instead I avoid it until I get to my deadline. I've been commissioned by the director of the theatre department at my uni to write something for him, with 2 scenes due every Wednesday. And I wait until a few hours before they're due.

Any tips on how to make myself write?
