Is this a joke or does he really think this? I can't tell if this guy really doesn't approve of homosex being forced into science-fiction or is just being a dank memer. It's hard to imagine any professional doing this and surviving. Even if he is a smartass about it he does have a point, other people shouldn't apply pressure to fiction so that it meets their standards.

most sf writers are liberal/left or libertarian - old school rand/eisenhower libertarian which I have some disagreements with but they do at least respect all people regardless of skin or gender or sex, Heinlein would make a point of hiding till halfway through or the end of a book in his 1950s stories that the protagonist was black or filipino or whatever
