Pic related, it was cringe-worthy. I liked his Dark Tower 1 but this was just spewing out shit out of his ass.

The only parts I remembered was the dismemberment and the Jeopardy. It was decent, could've been worse.

It was a school assignment.

I tried to read it, but it turned out that it was driest, most pointless piece of trash I had ever laid eyes on. There was no suspense, the allegory was boring, the twists were obvious. I literally went onto sparknotes and just nodded at it because it was that obvious. It was a real shame too, I was so excited to read it because I loved all of his short stories.

I think my english teacher hated me for a month because he knew I never read it, but I still passed that part of the course fine because he assigned weekly essays and I was the best essay writer in my class.

Only book I've truly given up on was the third divergent book.
I read the first two and a half books to prove a point (I'm stubborn) but couldn't finish the last one. Never read anything as bad as that before

You know, I'm probably the only person who prefers the first version of The Stand. Just 800 something pages! Plus no tacked on BS ending. Much better than the uncut version.

You really did miss out on the greatest American novel. Shame. Try reading it again.

The Jungle, once I felt like it was just socialist propaganda. I sympathize with the cause, but to so cheaply make the entire novel about socialism really bothered me as far as character and plot development.

Toni Morrison is a bitch.
Fuck Beloved
Fuck Song of Solomon.

I threw my copies in the trash once the semester ended.

Most of King's work is churned out to please his publishers. Simply do some research before picking up another one.
