end zone is nuke and football
great jones is music and the room
running dog is a spotlight on film and hitler
the names are quotes and people (cultists?)
underworld is headphones and a church(?)
body artist is lauren and tuttle
cosmopolis is packer's limo and downfall
falling man is the date and the towers
point omega is the desert and a face (elster?)

but what is underworld? it just looks like some fucky hand holding a baseball wrong

Non-American here: I was reading a bit about baseball one time and I'm nearly sure the way that ball's being held is particular to a minority pitching style whose name escapes me. Basically between thumb and index finger and you give it crazy spin. Could be wrong, though (and never read Underworld, so no idea if/how it's relevant).
