Gf is a conservative Russian Orthodox, "Marxist-Leninist". She's responsive to good books, so give me some titles I can use to turn her away from this madness.

Why does everyone who knows jack shit about politics always try to label themselves constantly?

I don't know anything about writing litterature, so I don't go around calling myself a post-modernist fantasy novel writer just because I googled the terms and thought they sounded cool. Neither do I go around calling myself a particle physics proponent or any such nonsense, because I realize that I know jack shit about the subject and its history. Yet, you can't have a conversation with a young person nowadays without them spewing political buzzwords everywhere.
