He's like Science John Green.
Not as bad but still a petty bourgeois liberal. He also tries extra hard to seem relatable to a younger audience. (lots of jump cuts, hand gestures, and dumbing down of language). He has better music than John Green has novels though, so he's at least a few notches better than John in the "talent" aspect of things.

It is interesting to check out book review people on youtube because you get to see piles of these books with generic, awful titles and glossy, shitty digital art-covers, and you've never heard of any of the authors but you get the sense that this is what most people are reading.
