well it's kind of a dumb story really. I got stopped for possesion once, aswell as dui when i was 18, dui - really dumb shit to do. So i already had criminal history. Since i was quite a good 'citizen' i only had to do social working. ANyway fast forward i tried to get gun licence when i turned 21 and couldn't because mental health history etc etc. All of it was in files that police supposedly receives from what my policeman friend told me. Few months after it i have stumbled upon anarchist cookbook(which is illegal in my country) in pdf so naturally i downloaded it. I never really cared about net security or however it is called so there is possibilty that they have tracked me down somehow. Then i was browsing /k/ and someone posted the do/k/ument, which in case you don't know is pretty much anarchist cookbook except it has more booty trap recipes and bombs. SO obviously i downloaded it. Few days later my mum calls me and tells me that police came into her office and wanted to talk about me. She also told me that they said they are going to visit me too. So ofcourse they came to my place asked to go to police station with them. I got held 7 hours there when they were asking me all sorts of weird shit (are you terrorist, do you have any terrorist afilliatio,), then like man this shit is hilarious, they started asking me about few posts i have made on 4chan (for example what i mean when i was talking about revolution (i wasn't really planniong on doing so i was just partaking in a discussion about one), what i have meant when i said 'i'm not really racist but i highlt dislike kikes', i had to fucking explain what kike means). After they were done i was informed that that they shall look at me closely because i might be racist threat and/or future arsonist/bomber.
Extremely weird situaion. After that i have spend 1 month in mental facility because this entire adventure started driving me extremely paranoic. I stopped using shampoo, i stopped drinking bottled water, threw away my phone but for some reason i kept using internet.
I am entirely sure that i am wiretaped.

Arts and letters daily, small subreddits, some youtube and here really are all I do on the internet aside from shopping and such

In Poland it's illegal to promote it, not to have it.
Similarly as Mein Kampf – you can have it, but you can't sell it or give it away.
The reason for it is that by doing so you promote forbidden ideas.

That's possible, but definitely not in form as described above.
As we all know, everyone tried to make explosives at home as a teen.
And indeed I've heard from reliable source of that some people that got too enthusiastic in it.
These people were like "let's fill empty 10l fire extinguisher with anfo and see how big hole in the ground it makes", not like "hey, let's melt some sugar with nitrate to make a smoke bomb"
So police "invited" those people, questioned them accurately and told them to stop. From what I know they did.
(side note: the hole in the ground was remarkable, some houses nearby lost glass panes in windows)

True, they can see to whom you are sending some data, but they can't see the data itself (if https). They only see that you talk to boards.4chan.org, they can't see even which board, can't see whether you're reading or posting etc.

The main issue is that tracking an author of a particular post would require a legal claim from Polish police to 4chan admin. International law is strict here, they must give a valid reason to issue such claim. I do not believe they ever do it for 4chan.
