I think it has more to do with the collective instability. Their sense of belonging comes from their roles assigned from the hive. But unlike a productive insect society, the posters are human beings. 4chan, on the other hand, bands together under the collective hate for the enemy in its phony brotherhood.

It's for this reason anyone saying /lit/ should write a legitimate book should just leave
