They argue in front of wish-granting plot device, each explaining why he thinks he should get the wish. Guy one gets frustrated, exclaims, "I wish you would just see it my way." Guy two calms down, tells guy one that guy one was right all along, apologizes, they get emotional and make up. They turn to the wish-granting plot device and say, "we're ready. We have decided how we would like to spend our one wish." Wish-granting plot device explains that they already used it up. They go back to fighting, but now they are fighting about whose fault it is that the wish got wasted.

Now that I've typed it out I realize its kind of too close to that Simpsons gag where Homer and Apu go to see the Head of Kwik-E-Mart and Homer wastes their 3 questions.
