i bet $2000 headphones make music sound fucking fantastic. i would never want to go back to the pair i have. i could never listen to the same songs again without experiencing ever nuance. hell, there might be music that i enjoy only because of specific parts that these shit headphones don't pick up.

fortunately, i have no plans on buying those fancy headphones any time soon. this potential benefit has no negative effect on my enjoyment now, but it would once i experienced it. why would i bring negativity into my life?

isn't it best to live without in order to increase the ease and completeness with which i could be fulfilled?

Expensive headphones merely improve the soundquality of songs you are listening to. A more accurate allegory for a life without love would be this: A person listens to pop music. They are completely unaware that there is anything else out there, or if they do know they don't feel like making the effort of stepping outside their comfort zone and confronting themselves with the unfamiliar. As a result of their ignorance they do not find interest in the songs their friends want to share with them, they do not have anything to say about it. They may pretend to care, but in reality they live this part of their life in apathy, bored out of their wits. They do not connect this feeling to to their ignorance, but the cricumstances they find themselves in.

I think that those who are able to understand and care about life in all of its facettes will be able to enjoy it to its fullest.

it doesnt matter what kind of phones im using. my brain is able to enhance thin quality audio to fill the gaps and end up listening to rich music in my head (as it is in reality, after all)
