I couldn't reckon the number of gods accurately, but there's probably an awful lot of them, of which I worship a number.

Pic related is one of the better books making an argument against both monotheism and atheism.

There, are in fact, more gods than all the human beings that have ever lived. Since some men have envisioned more than one at a time and the mind of man is where they come from.

Now video source for this gif if you please.

I don't see how there could be infinite gods, no matter what your perspective.

cause you're human, you can't even imagine 13 distinct objects at once.

>How many gods are there

many, but they are all simply aspects of the one absolute.

>> No.5871552

>>5871538
Yeah, well, according to Hegel, everything is just an aspect of one absolute. So when I ask you how many people do you think are in room, I mean aside from the idea of the absolute.

Is anyone here interested in a theological book club, that would showcase important works of various faiths, along with atheist works?

>>5871526
Oh just edit. All those dealing with the topic. Bible, philosophy, history, science. Too many to recall right now.

They're all The One.
Well the monotheist variety anyway.

duh

>So when I ask you how many people do you think are in room, I mean aside from the idea of the absolute

There is no distinction. gods and human beings are not alike. gods are greater aspects of the absolute, humans are lesser aspects of the absolute.

>theological book club
>that would showcase important works of various faiths
>"along with atheist works?"

it isn't theological if you include atheist works. the club would just be a breeding ground for pointless, repetitive arguing.

How does the Bible indicate that there are no gods?

>>5871572
Better to host contrary opinions than have a theist hugbox.

Read the Paine book I posted, it's good. He'll explain better than I.
